France’s Jo Klatten outshines the Aussies on Australia Day to win Women’s NSW Open.
The way Australian sport is going at the moment, most assumed that an Australian golfer would take out the Bing Lee Fujitsu Women’s NSW Open on Australia Day.
But France’s Joanna Klatten had other ideas and fired a course record 9-under par 63 to secure her second major professional win at Oatlands Golf Club.
The 28-year-old, who finished at 16-under-par, made nine birdies in a flawless display around on the Oatlands golf course to triumph by three strokes from Canberra’s Nikki Campbell (66).
