On the merits of being labelled a choker

Just because some ignorant golf fan calls you a choker, doesn’t mean you’re stuck with it for life.

I recently penned a piece for GolfLink on the offensive ‘c’ word on golf – choker. I discuss how many golfers have been stupidly labelled with this term, only to go on and win major golf championships – Adam Scott included.

The professional golf world is littered with examples where a golfer has blown a lead over the closing holes, only to come back as a golfer more capable of withstanding the final round nerves.
